Blogs

Blogs are a great way to share your own experience and to share your testimony with the world. Its a good way to get what you believe out there to the world and to help others. Share your example and your story with your own blog.

How to begin:
There are two Blog sites I would suggest.
Blogger (run by google) or Wordpress

Blogger is super simple and that is what this blog is on. Its easy to learn and there is a lot of free things you can use.
Wordpress is more complex and is a great site if you are experienced with blogging. There is more to do on this blog site, but most of it cost money :)

For this tutorial, we will be using Blogger. Most blogs are the same and a lot of what I will show with Blogger will be similar with Wordpress.

Lets begin...


Go to Blogger.com


Log in or create new account

 Now on the dashboard click new blog

Now you are at the window where you create your new blog! Give it a title and pic a basic outline

Then it will bring you back here

now click "Start posting" and make your first post!!! you can add pictures and make links as well!!! This is a great way to make your post look interesting and draw people in.

Now it will probably ask you to share your new post on your google+ account. Do it if you want.
Now it will bring you to your post dashboard, on the left tabs click Layout.

Here you can add gadgets and customize what is on your blog! There are calendars, About Me boxes, Badges, etc.

 

Next, lets work on the look. Go to "Template", click on customize and just look around at what you can do!

Now work hard! Design! Ask for inspiration! and SHARE!!!
